Daytime Gatherings


Whispering Winds can comfortably accommodate from two to twenty people for small group retreats or other gatherings. The house has multiple rooms that can serve as meeting rooms: Living Room, Sun Room, Dining Room, Rainbow Room, and Gazebo. Typically, all the common areas of the house are reserved for the whole time that a group retreat is scheduled. Everyone can meet all together in the Sun Room or Living Room, and then break into smaller groups in the other rooms, depending on the types of activities planned for the day.

For day-long meetings, food can be brought in by the group or meals can be catered. We are happy to assist you in coordinating the details for your group retreat.

The daily rate for using the whole house for a meeting is $99 for a group of  2 to 6 people, $199 for a larger group. Please call 608-212-6197 to discuss the details.
Overnight Gatherings

Whispering Winds has four guest rooms. Each guest room has one queen-size bed. We are happy to coordinate with local bed and breakfasts for additional guest rooms when they are needed for a group retreat or gathering, such as a church retreat or a family reunion.

For overnight gatherings, we provide a continental breakfast. Food for other meals may be brought by the group, or we can assist you in having meals catered.

The rate for a 2-day, 1-night gathering, reserving the whole house is $599. This includes use of the 4 guest rooms and all the shared areas of the house and grounds.
